Our Story
Who We Are
Meeting Place Church was built on one conviction: that when people truly encounter God, everything changes. We exist to be the place where that encounter happens — week after week, life after life.

Our Foundation
Where It All Began
Meeting Place Church was founded on the belief that the local church is the hope of the world. What started as a small gathering of people hungry for God has grown into a community that spans generations and backgrounds.
We have never been interested in building a religious institution. We want to build a family — a place where the lost find direction, the broken find healing, and the seeking find God.
Our name says it all: we are a meeting place. A place where heaven meets earth, where people meet each other, and most importantly, where you can meet God.
Our Journey
Our History
August 2020
Pastor Joseph and his wife Brooke relocated to Georgia from Texas, assuming the pastorate of a struggling church with a renewed vision for Gospel-centered ministry.
2021 — The Reformation
As the burden for authentic ministry deepened, the old structure was dissolved and Meeting Place Church was officially birthed — a fresh movement centered on encountering God.
2023 — The Vision
Through divine guidance, God revealed a property on Five Forks Trickum Road — our Promised Land — a place where we could establish a lasting legacy of Gospel ministry for generations to come.
2024 — The Promise Fulfilled
By God's grace, we purchased 5.67 acres at 2149 Five Forks Trickum Road, Lawrenceville, GA — a foundation for countless lives transformed by the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ.
What We Stand On
What We Believe
Our beliefs are rooted in Scripture and the historic Christian faith. These are the convictions that shape everything we do.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God — our ultimate authority for life and faith.
God
We believe there is only one God—the eternal Creator of heaven and earth (Deuteronomy 6:4). He has revealed Himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), the Son (Savior), and the Holy Spirit (Indwelling Helper). One God, revealed in three distinct ways for our redemption and transformation.
Salvation
We believe salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. Nothing can be added to it.
Baptism
We believe in water baptism by immersion in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. Through baptism we identify with His death, burial, and resurrection (Romans 6:3-6; Acts 2:38).
Holy Spirit Baptism
We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking in other tongues as evidence of His indwelling presence and power (Acts 2:4).
Gifts of the Spirit
We believe in the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit—including tongues, interpretation, prophecy, words of knowledge and wisdom, discerning of spirits, faith, working of miracles, healing, and helps (1 Corinthians 12:1-11).
The Church
We believe the Church is the visible body of Christ, sent into the world to glorify God and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ through worship, growth, service, and outreach.
Prayer
We believe prayer is how we commune with God — it is powerful, necessary, and changes things.
