Many people are drawn to Jesus because of miracles, but this message asks whether belief remains a spectator’s interest or becomes a life surrendered to God. Through Nicodemus’s encounter with Jesus, it explores the necessity of being born of water and Spirit, and presents the new birth as a transforming work that washes away sin, gives a new heart, and changes how a person lives. The message connects salvation with grace rather than human achievement, while emphasizing that the Holy Ghost is not only a past experience: believers need continual infilling for daily life, boldness, and faithful service. A warning from Judges reminds listeners not to let Pentecost become merely a memory or a symbol of what God once did. The invitation is to move from watching others worship to seeking a personal encounter with God, offering repentance, and becoming available to serve in the kingdom. Whether someone is new to the message of the Holy Ghost or longing to be renewed, the sermon calls for active faith and present-day spiritual transformation.
